If Floyd totally out boxes Hatton ,, would some of Floyd harshest critics and Hatton fan give Floyd his just Due or turn over another excuse. I think it only fair to ask since the question was presented to the Floyd fans.
I wouldn't be very surprised to be honest but this is boxing, I've seen guys win 11 rounds with no problems and then get ktfo in the 12th. Anything can happen. Go Ricky you little English Gremlin!
I don't think anyone would be shocked if Floyd dominated Hatton, but I doubt it'll happen. He might win, but he won't dominate Ricky.
That's the form surely, who's gonna be shocked? Its a top 2 p4p fighter against a top 10 p4p fighter. Anything can happen.
Right, very few outcomes will shock me, both men are capable of pulling out a clear win over the other if they come in focused and determined.
very true just watched the the twenty four seven series on sky and if mayweather is worried about his brittle hands he could be looking at a first defeat. I have cerebral palsy and he seemed worse than me after a visit to the physio.
Not that shocked really, but if that does occur, one can only imagine the crap people here will then post, and yet i have a nagging fealing if hatton wins,we will see good old ESB special,of "he was not well" or "he had overtrained",i doubt to many will give hatton credit I personaly think it will go the full route, but im more then convinced one or maybe both men, will be on the deck sometime in the fight
I want Hatton to win this, but if he gets totally outboxed by Mayweather even to the point where he appears to be running from Hatton, then I'll tip my hat to him. The bottom line is winning, and if constant movement and low puch output is what somone needs to do to win it's still legit. I won't like it as a fan, but I'll respect it as long as the judges score it correctly.
I would be surprised, but not shocked. My view of this fight is that Hatton can't be outboxed 'Gatti' style, simply because he is much to fast on his feet. He bounces in and out very quickly, and often will simply bounce in, and stay there in a clinch. Gatti was more of a plodder, as were most of Floyds opponents he thoroughly outboxed such as Baldomir. Also Hatton will bounce in and be prepared to take shots, whereas other opponents were not keen to do this. This fight will keep swinging two ways I think, Hatton will be on the end of a jab at times in this fight, inevitably, but at others he will be jumping in throwing big shots, and right in Mayweather's face throwing shots to the body and short uppercuts. This is a closer fight then people are expecting, it is an intriguing matchup of styles.
I think most Ricky fans who know anything about boxing are going to be more surprised if Ricky wins. None of us are being silly here, we are just getting frustrated with you lot being silly and not giving our fighter any respect and speaking about him as though he doesn't diserve to be in the same ring as that **** Mayweather.
only if he is KO'ed or badly beaten....i think that has to be a shock as most his fans have him as being very very skilled.
Well , if your any kind of fan of the sport , you know this is boxing and anything can happen . The sport is littered with repeat history , of the under dog pulling a upset. But I any case both fighter should get credit for taking this fight, because there where a lot of out side influences that didn't want the fight to take place, and are doing every thing they can to stack the deck for one side or the other , which can only contribute to being a True hater. Oscar , Arum both fighter are capable , but we will see who has the best answer for apposing style come Dec 8 . Im still picking Floyd buy ud 12 but I do expect Ricky to put up a good fight .
To be honest, expected logical minds to give me a proper answer, which I got .. In short , you ask a stupid question you get a stupid answer , but I do appreciate the thoughtful insight .
