Roy Jones has declined tremendously since his win over Ruiz. Comparing a prime Jones the one of the past 6 years or so is hilarious.

Dude if you really think that Jones is something near his prime, you cleary dont know **** bout Boxing! Period!

The Ruiz fight was his last fight near his prime, after he lost all that weight withing weeks to fight Tarver he was a piece of ****! No reflexes, no handspeed nothing!
Jones in his prime was always a great ahtlete and relied on speed and reflexes, thats why he could hide that weak chin for so long!

Dummy, look what I wrote when I answered you before.
You clearly cant take in what you read. I will highlight the part in question for you. Read it 6 or 7 times to take it in and then answer
The full picture being with recent results.

He was ahead on one card going into the last round against a fighter who looked unlucky to many against a CW world champ in his previous fight.
Remember also how Jones beat Sheika who went on to give Diaconu a tough fight and nobody felt Diaconu was shot after having 2 tough fights with Pascal who became the top LHW

Its a shame calzaghe will be remembered as being a hell of a lot better, because although calzaghe beats any version of roy imo,he would have given him one hell of a fight

I remember how sad it was when he celebrated just going the distance with Tarver. You have to take into account just how highly regarded he was, even before his peak.I always thought he was going to be one of those fighters that retired early, leaving you wanting more.In the late 90's early 00's you could never have predicted such a long, painful fall from grace.

If we look at Jones last 2 fights against Lebecev and Hopkins -
Against Lebedev Jones was ahead on one card in the final round and unlucky not to have a KD scored against a CW who had just fought a world champ to a SD and
Against Hopkins, Jones scored a KD that Hopkins made out was behind his head as he wasnt able to continue without some time out and Hopkins is now recognised as the LHW champ. That could have been a KO win for Jones.

I understand what you are saying. But he did give Tarver the LHW champ an arguemnet then beat 3 fighters. One an undefeated SMW contender, and another being Trinidad who was considered Hopkins biggest win by some.
After losing to the champ again (Calzaghe), Jones then clearly beat Lacy and Sheika. Sheika went on to give Diaconu a tough fight and nobody felt Diaconu was shot. Now Jones has pushed a CW contender.
