How shot is Hatton?

Bull****. He was never a 'great' fighter. That's just a fantasy.

Hatton's punch resistence is totally gone. If you want to call that 'shot', then I think that would be pretty accurate, seeing as though the only guy who hasn't KO'd, or seriously hurt Hatton in the last few years was a feather fisted Malignaggi.

Judah is the kind of fighter hatton should stay away from if he wants to go out on a win.Good and very fast puncher, past it, but hes still strong enough to take hatton at this stage imo

i think this is a disrespectful and uneducated poll.

hatton's faced the 2 best p4p ighters in the last couple of years and suddenly people want to raise questions about him.

if anyone else apart from hatton faced floyd and pac you'd be singing the same swansong - instead you should be praising him for taking that chance.

i don't understand how people can even think this just because he "got beat".

Hatton will probably lose to good opponents in their prime its just that he hasen`t fought any.............As for PBF and Pac I dont think any half decent fighter has looked as bad against them as Hatton did.

Hatton was miles out of his depth...............

 

Not that far gone, maybe a 4 or 5. Hatton has always been a supremely flawed fighter. He is just getting exposed by world class competition as of late. He should go back to setting up matches against club fighters.

i agree..he fought a tuff guy got cliped cound not recover..pac closed the deal.."as he should" he is a good fighter..

 

If guys like Barrera and Morales could be shot boxers at 29 when Pac beat them, why not Hatton at 30? Pac destroyed Hatton, right? Hatton was therefore already shot vs Pac! That's how it is, Pac can only beat a shot fighter! atsch

 

If it was only Floyd who defeated Hatton, we could not say he is shot. Now that Pac had also beaten him, he must be really shot because Pac can only beat a shot fighter!atsch

 

I thought the same thing, he loses to the 2 best p4p guys in his era and keyboard warriors are calling for his retirement. :-(

 

I wouldn't call him shot but he has definitely declined fairly significantly from the Hatton that fought Kostya. He can't punch in combination anymore, not that he was ever a great combination puncher, but he use to be able to let his hands go far more effectively on the inside/working out of clinches. His punch resistance has probably also declined a bit after taking so many flush shots over the years.
