No, but I'd say very little (chance again Bute) and rather shot... I've got that site Decebal put up bookmarked, so I'll be checkin' out the fight and how he looks for sure.

He's pretty damn shot, and stands NO chance against Bute. In fact, I expect Bute to stop him within 3 rounds.

I'd give him no chance at all against Bute. He's going to get blown out early. At 168 Bute hits harder than Hopkins and Trinidad at 160. I think this is just a final payday for Joppy before he retires.

I agree with everyone else here.

Joppy is shot and has no chance against Bute.

Not a freaking chance. Bute would have to seriously screw up.

Joppy was one of a line of fighters absolutely devastated by Felix Trinidad.

    Lets put this in perspective:

vs Trinidad- Joppy at his peak. 2x titlist, and it was well known hops and joppy were the #1 and #2 fighters at middle and not necessarily in that order.
    vs Hopkins- SHOT
    vs Joppy- ANCIENT

I think you're underestimating Joppy quite a bit. Have you even seen his fights with Trinidad and Taylor? Do you remember he was outboxing and out working Trinidad before he got hit with those huge punches? Do you remember he was outjabbing Taylor in the early rounds? He's probably shot at this point and Bute will most likely win every rounds. But if he still has his jab. I say he could cause Bute some problems in the first 3-4 rounds.

Yep trinidad ruined him like so much others. I don't know if Lucian wants to make a statement or he just want to learn in this fight. If its the later, he might let Joppy last quite long.

OK! so by what I read if Bute goes life and death with Joppy or its a close fight and goes the distance what will it say about Bute?
