Yeah... too bad for Tito, he was a legend. As for the DLH-Margarito fight, I'd slightly favour Margo, but only for DLH's stamina issues. I firmly believe DLH is able to hurt Margo, or at least stun him. Is Daniel Santos THAT harder a puncher than Oscar...? Honestly, I can't believe that some posters actually think DLH is totally shot. :huh
DLH does not fit the definition of a shot fighter. A fighter who can hang with Mayweather is not shot. He is not the fearsome welterweight he once was, but he's still pretty damn good.
So if Hoya were to fight Cotto or Margarito he ain't "shot"? But now its Pacquiao he is suddenly "shot"? Make up your mind....
Roach (Pac's trainer) thinks that Hoya is pretty much shot.... what do you think about that??? Roach thinks that is the "right time for Pac"...... Do you agree???
Some times I think the same way as you..... other times I think he is on his way out..... DLH defeated Mayorga, a boxer who couldn't make the weight and had to use illegal "stuff" to make the 154 lbs..... then Hoya fought PBF a boxer who started at 130 who was not big for him and fought the fight pretty much in a defensive mode, a fighter who didn't test Hoya the way that others (147 pounders) would have tested him...... and then Oscar fought Forbes..... a former featherweight who actually gave him at some point a hard time..... Was he really good when he fought those fights..... or was he just ok ???? I think he was mediocre..... Do this mean he is shot???? :huh I wish I knew....
Roach also though Bernard Hopkins was shot before the Pavlik fight, and Israel Vasquez before the 3rd Marquez fight. So that pretty much shuts that the **** up As for your second statement, that doesnt mean a goddamn thing. Every trainer talks up their fighter.
I know that.... I think you are misunderstanding my point..... He also said that the fight with David Diaz was more dangerous than fighting JMM.... he said that when the vast majority of boxing fans and media were talking about a fight between Pac-JMM II...... he was trying to excuse Pac and looking forward to Pac-Diaz at 135.... So the question still for those who believe everything that Roach says..... Do they agree with his POV that Hoya is pretty much shot??? This content is protected
Lol. That wasn't a boxing Clinic. May-Gatti, Wright-Tito, Bhop-Pavlik .. These were boxing clinics. Still Oscar is not SHOT... Seems like many people here WILL not accept that PAC might actually win against Oscar and thereby making up excuses this early to discredit PAC.
I expect Roach to trash talk a little bit everytime there is fight for pac. Haven't you noticed?! Don't take everything seriously when one camp says something... like what Roach said and like what dlh said that he is currently 145lbs now :huh
