How Should and How Will Garcia Fight Lucas?

Garcia hasn't faced a puncher like Matthysse. Matthysse has faced a decent puncher in Ajose. Matthysse is the harder puncher of them both, he also seems to have a better chin and on ring IQ they seem about equal.

 

He should drug Matthysse, then wear a helmet in the ring. At least that way he won't leave on a stretcher.

 

This really isn't going to end on how people expect it to. Garcia is going to win on points or by TKO.

 

First off let me say this:

Thank you, this is a true fan/boxing enthusiast friendly fight.

I'm banking on the fact that both men will underestimate one another and fall victim of rumors and misconceptions. This of course will produce drama in the ring and the chess match that starts for the first few rounds will turn into straight gorilla warfare. What truly intrigues me is the fact that both these guys have shown the ability to fight through adversity while remaining confident and dangerous.

 

This will not be an upset. Garcia is actually the dangerman. And powerful at the weight. Watch lucas try to box steadily on the back foot.trying to catch garcia punches with his gloves. And try to smother garcias work. Mayweather and garcia is the fight i like to see. And i think i can truly see it .

 

No the ring IQ is quite similar though you have to give Danny a slight advantage since he has shown his adjustments proved successful while Lucas was never able implement a winning strategy vs Alexander and Zab.

Garcia is seriously underrated on here. Garcia is #1, the question should be how will Lucas fight Garcia.

I am a fan of both but I think Garcia is the slightly better all round fighter.

 

This fight will look like matthyse vs soto. Soto tried to box and landed some good shots, but at the end of the day he was too flatfooted and got pummeled by Matthysse.

Matthysse Tko. Power, chin and decent defense should get him the victory.

 

Danny will try to outbox Matthysse. He will let Matthysse lead the first few round (1-3,4) and simply fight off the back foot and counter off of Lucas' body. Matthysse hopefully will do what he did with Ojose and Peterson and go 'head' first Chavez Sr style to have a TKO much later.

That's how I think the fight will play out and Matthysse will come out on top

 

im still confused why ppl are in love swifts unproven "power"...he knocked out khan on a neck shot and a dead erik morales, he was landing on judah and couldnt get him out. zab landed a flush uppercut on lm and the machine didnt budge...i think lm can take swifts punch

 

garcia has 26 wins, 16 KO's, his power is overrated, its decent but nothing like matthyse. Danny doesn't know how to fight hurt, hes never had to do it yet.. Matthyse is just on a great run and will beat danny with a ko around 4 rounds. The only way danny wins this for me is early with a very good shot that hurts matthyse and he finishes it ... otherwise for me matthyse wins. I can't see matthyse getting hurt by garcua though.

 

Mayweather v garcia would be soooo boring, floyd would easily beat him, garcias hands and feet are way too slow to deal with a guy like floyd.

 

He should and will fight him scared.
