Just interested that's all, you would hope they would both earn a nice cheque given it's a world title fight.

A complete guess but probably something like Adonis making around $375,000 and Bellew making around $67,000.

Keep his hands high. Like Murray did against Marquez. Try and get the center of the ring and then try and bully Stveneson. He needs to get him on the ropes and work the body at 1st imo.

I've got a feeling that Tony can win this fight. It's a shame his opportunity has been sort of overshadowed by the great Froch versus Groves battle.
He needs to survive the power, but Stevenson has been stopped and is not a youngster. I also think his best wins may be slightly flattering.
A win and Bellew is WBC and Ring Champion, a huge achievement. It's there for him but he's going to have to go to hell and back to win it.

The awesome Kovalev is also on the bill apparently, do we put him down for a stoppage win <5 rounds perhaps :huh:good

I'll tell you what i mean, Bellew is away from home he will no it is unlikely he wins close rounds, he might go out with a gameplan but he will feel he needs to lay it on Stevenson and hurt him to make an impact and win rounds clear. Also if he falls behind in the fight he will abandon the plan IMO and need to go all out and thats when he get's caught.

Need's to be careful that he doesn't square up other wise when he releases the right hand he could be caught with the big left over the top - which could spell good night.

His footwork is going to be SO important, it need's to be spot on.

This is a tier down but its Pacquioa Hatton 2.

Tony really needed to be able to throw a good straight right hand, but he chops with it and against a fast southpaw with knockout power , well its not going to last long.

Sorry Tony as I like you .

Stevenson has 22 or 23 wins, 19 by them of way of Knockout. He Ko'ed Dawson & Cloud in LWH, so Bellew should be very aware of his power. Stevenson might be 36 years old, but he turned pro late and unlike Froch he hasn't been in so many wars, so he might have some good years left in him. Bellew needs to do smart pressure in order to win the fight, take ring center and throw combos without opening up to much to counters. I acatually feel Stevenson is a bit underrated by you guys here, he is probably #3 LWH after Bhop and Kovalev. Stevenson is a explosive puncher, so maybe if Bellew turned it into a brawl, he actually might benefit from it because, Stevenson can be hurt. But with that said, i'm rooting for Stevenson on stoppage, this one wil determine if Adonis is just a hypejob, because if he beats Bellew. Then he stopped Bellew, Dawson & Cloud, which on resume is quite impressive.

I wish him well but honestly expect him to get knocked the **** out.
I think he is inferior in all departments, but hope he pulls it off.

Bellew needs to pressure/smother Stevenson early. Hold, wrestle, hit the back of the head, bang the body, shove him back, don't give him space to generate power or sit on the outside feinting. Wear him down and stay close enough to be safe for 6 rounds. Second half of the fight Stevenson shouldn't be as explosive and Bellew can start trying to bomb the straight right from the outside. I'm looking for him to either time the hook over Stevenson's straight left or set it up with a right to the body sometime in rounds 10-12. Glorious victory for Bellew and 11/1 payout for me lol
