How should Jacobs fight Golovkin?

Fighters with "good timing" CAN land on ANYONE. Ggg has the best timing bar NON. Also ggg has GREAT defense when he feels it's important. And it's a FACT ggg had no respect for brook once in the ring


Brook landed a handful of shots through the entire 5 rounds fought, and that's with ggg going for a spectacular ko leaving himself wide open.

Brook being so much "smaller and faster" should had been able to land 20x what he landed.. if anyone has seen his fights and truly can't tell the difference between when ggg is cautious and when he doesn't gaf what his opponent lands it's not worth talking boxing with those clueless trolls.

Against Jacob's ggg will not let him land anything because Jacob's has the type of power that the right shot could spell doom. Ggg will systematically break him down and stop him mid rounds after lemmey tupe ggg performance.

But I don't know if Jacob's lands the type of shots (like 3) lemmey landed in rounds 5 and 6. Full power left hooks on the chin that had no affect on ggg. Exactly like Brooks few clean shots had no affect what so ever.

Ggg is seriously on his own level, saying that Canelo with his skills and toughness will give him a run after ggg takes care of Jacob's and after he tries , successful or not, getting bjs in a ring.

Both Jacob's AND bjs are currently more important than Canelo, it's true

He didn't "go all out" vs Quillin, he timed him perfectly and landed a counter punch. That was a very calculated and smart move, not "going all out".

People won't like my opinion but I believe he needs to play spoiler. Find range, pace, and timing early in round 1, jabs and back pedaling to reset. Wait for that opportunity to counter instead of trying to force it, the less exchanges there are, the better. You don't want to go all out or get into a fire fight with Golovkin. When the opportunity arises, step inside and throw. Turn it into a chess match where there's fewer punches thrown. Clinch when inside to reset and make every punch count.

People talking about Golovkin's defense and chin, he's defense is solid, it's basic but very good. Nothing flashy. His chin? It's rarely going to get checked when your opponent is in survival mode after round 2.

 

We know that Jacobs will test the chin before he goes. We want to see how GG responds to being hit with speed and power.

 

He will fight him the way all Golovkin opponents are designed to fight him, otherwise they wouldn't have been handpicked by Golovkin's team. Jacobs will go in there and get sparked as soon as possible and Golovkin will continue to look like prime Mike Tyson to his mentally incapable fan base. Notice too, if Golovkin fights fighters that are supposedly defensive, they can't move worth for jack and Golovkin ends up looking like a master of cutting off the ring.
