A prepared copy and past rant…….*cute* This can be done to many fighters if purposely worded correctly.

No matter how you flip it Floyd has beat 20 world champions in 17 years. Since you have so much information please tell me who in the current state of boxing has done this in the past 20 years?

If all of these guys sucked and Floyds entire resume of 45 fights were vs cab drivers and traffic cops, then tell me who else has remained dominant for 17 years in this era?

Next you are going to tell me that he ducked so and so and this guy and that guy, but those guys you name are going to be guys who weren't even world champions for a long time, loss to much lesser talented and skilled fighters than Mayweather, weren't dominant for any long period of time, who have multiple losses or who have been knocked out. :patsch

This era is garbage. There is no active top 35 p4p boxer besides Hopkins and Roy Jones based on his past accomplishments. Weak eras always come along in boxing. This is no exception.

I suppose according to your logic the Klitschkos are on the same level as Ali, Louis, Dempsey because they have X amount of title defenses and X amount of KOs? No matter how you flip it, all of Floyd's opposition is not worthy of ATG status - belt holders or not. You think bums like Victor Ortiz would be champs in any legit era?

Picking and choosing statistics proves nothing. Put them in context and you will eventually cease to be one of the blind sheep that follow the herd

It'd be awesome. Who's the last fighter to unify the WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO titles?

    that's not the point.

floyd said that he would give up his belt than fight a certain person.

it means that belt means nothing.....or :think:think:think hmm.

The keyboard warriors call it "paper" champions but the actual guys in the ring fighting for titles consider world titles to mean everything. Call it what you want, if you beat a guy who was a champion because he beat a champion then you are a champion. Just cause the guys who have titles and are champions aren't the guys you envision in your imagination or mind that have the "perfect" style to beat Mayweather doesnt diminish what prize fighters accomplish in the sport.

Also should I take your POV or actual writers and professionals? You are simply writing on a message board. Corrales was undefeated and was the #1 guy @130, Castillo was the #1 guy at 135 and Mayweather fought him 2 times within the span of 6 months at his first fight at 135:yikes

@140, neither Hatton or Cotto wanted to fight, this is well documented and I am sure you can google old articles or excavate this forum to find old threads from 2004/2005.

Judah was the last undisputed WW champion, he lost to Baldomir, Floyd beat both of them within a span of 6 months in the same year. Whether or not you think Baldomir was a paper champion or not, the fact remains and history will always show that Zab Judah was the undisputed WW champion and he lost to Baldomir, Baldomir was then ranked as the #1 WW, your opinion on how boxing shoulve ranked the guy who just beat the undisputed champion is futile and meaningless. Floyd beat the 2 WW champs back to back.

Oscar was ranked #1 @154 and in Floyds first fight at that weight he beat him,…..he beat Hatton when he was undefeated and Hatton had a WW title and was on the P4P list, he beat Mosley when Mosley was on the P4P list at #3 and was ranked #1 at WW. He beat JMM when he was ranked #2 P4P in the WORLD. He beat Canelo who was ranked #1 at 154..:scaredas:

Your biased opinion and muddled remembrance of the past can never refute the facts. :nono

damn it's been that long? I thought it might have been Hopkins, but I thought that maybe somebody may have done it since then?

I know Judah had the IBF, WBC and WBA titles all at once at welterweight, but he was missing the WBO

It will be nice if Mayweather can become an Undisputed Champion, the WBO I suspect will mean Pacquiao or Bradley :smoke

Weak based off what comparative basis? Fighters are fighters and boxing is boxing…….so if this era is weak why aren't their any fighters as dominant as Floyd year after year and weight after weight?

    explanation….
