i don't know who started this whole thing... but i am sure ward just like calslappy (who by the way was a great fighter). kirk posted a link to a video about how everyone who enters the boxed circle is a warrior and deserves respect... so lets give them some respect.
This forum has turned to **** with dreadful posts,no Super middleweight in history would shut out Calzaghe, its a 50/50 fight between two great fighters,id go with joe in a very close decision win that could have gone either way,Calzaghe's work rate would win him more rounds without landing any major blows..
he fought kesler in his prime.... and kesller is a good fighter... don't get me wrong i dont know a lot about Calzaghe, his fauls... i know he slaps a little bit, i know he fought bhop and jones when they were old but Bhop went to win the title after that... so it isn't like behop wasn't any good.
There you go! Now THAT'S a fact. What you said before was an opinion. Keep it up! It's not that hard, just takes practice. You'll get it buddy!:good
Kessler is the one fight of Calzaghe's that I can't take anything away from. That was a solid, solid win.
Calslappy did. After the Super Six final his butthurt just couldn't be contained anymore and he just had to run to the media to tell them all about how he would have beaten Ward if he was still fighting, etc. To be fair, though, 'Slappy spent nearly his entire career at 168 and it must be a real ***** to see this young kid only 26 fights in already very close to achieving "greatest SMW of all tiime" status. :yep
Ward is creating his legacy off of Calzaghes leftovers Calzaghe would have beaten Ward quite easily. Wide decision for Calzaghe.
Calzaghe literally took homeless drunks off the streets and paid them in liquor and cheeseburgers to put on boxing gloves. And he still couldn't knock them out cold.
He had better power than Ward. Ward literally has NO power, he only stopped Dawson because of how drained he was. Ward didn't have the balls to fight Dawson at LHW.
