How similar were Hopkins and Hagler?

    Stylistically I dont see it. Hagler was more an aggressive boxer puncher. Hopkins was a spoiler who used craftiness to frustrate his opponents.

    Hopkins would use his craftiness to score points, shut down his opponents offense and win rounds.

    Hagler would use his skills to do damage.

    Different approach.

    I respect Hopkins but enjoyed watching Hagler more.
