    No. Olson fought Moore first. He went back to middleweight and fought SRR 6 months later.

    Olson fought Moore in1955 .He fought Robinson in1952,1955,and1956.

    Yes. But Olson wasn't a big win when Ray beat him in '52. And that was March '52. We're talking about the best p4p fighter in September 1955. After losing to SRR in '52, Olson went undefeated for 3 years (21-0) until he lost to Moore.

    The obvious reason is that it matters when gaging Marciano's all time standings as a heavyweight .

    So what? The division has evolved as has everything else in the world. He beat the best heavyweights that were out there. No one was out denying bigger guys boxing licenses

    Not really. Training during the time a fighter fights determines how heavy they are. Look at Andy Ruiz. Put him in the 1950s and what will he weigh?
