How smart or stupid are David Haye and Adam Booth for ducking the Klitschkos ?

The thing is if Haye beats Wlad in 2011 (****ing big "if" I know!) then a soft couple of fights in 2010 will all be forgotten by the majority of people. Haye isn't really doing anything that a lot of other boxers havn't done in the past, his main crime seems to have been bullshitting too well and fooling people in to thinking he was somehow different.

Gaz let's logic and facts get in the way of a good story/hating session, but he's right..........to an extent. The trouble is Haye is also very inactive. Someone said recently, I think it was Ishy "but when you have only 2 fights a year and one of them is Audley......."

Personally, I like the Audley fight. I'm an Audley fan so I was happy when this was made, but of course not everyone will feel this way and I can understand the frustration. Then he comes out with those stupid, stupid videos that make him look a twat. Like I said, he's made a choice and he's had to sacrifice certain things for it.

stupid, heavyweight boxing is very dangerous, audley stands a chance of sparking him, then if this happens were are both of them, even chisora and his team understand this, they know to try and go for the bigger option, as tyson furys style beats him in every way, and if it dident they would be trying to fight him instead, if haye wins then all is rosey, if he loses in a fight were he could have made a lot more money and possible unknown glory, would he be anywhere near the fighter you thought, klitchko out the window, theres a lot at stake.

The thing is i dont think anybody begrudges a boxer who once they win a title makes a payday or two for some money in the bank.

The problem is that these sort of fights are usually done quickly but by only fighting once every 6months it frustrates the fans because of the delay of the fights that they do want to see

If Haye fought every 4 months it would be a different matter.

Couple of years back they were offering Haye - a newcomer to the division - a shitty double rematch contract and the very thin end of the cash wedge.

He pulled out of that deal (only because Setanta went tits up if we're honest).

Now he finds himself armed with a strap and the Klits chasing him, offering him straight 50:50 on the money, if the rumours are to be believed.

Damn right he was smart not to take the first offer.

Haye is being a bit of a **** lately but the Klits have been at it for years. They'd have fought Haye long ago if they hadn't tried to job him with their first offers.

This is very true, I was revved for Haye-Wlad about 2 years ago iirc. If it happens in 2011 it will have been about a 3 yaer wait. ****ing appalling.

Same goes for Floyd-Pac. Should have been done by now. Floyd 'retires' after every ****ing fight.

I don't see how he's done anything immoral. Maybe unprincipled, but not immoral.

If you find this appalling you must have had a heart attack waiting for Lewis-Tyson, Tyson - Holyfield, Lewis - Holyfield!!

The fact that the No1&2 guys won't square off and the division is so thin doesn't help Haye.

The difference is GazOC never did believe a word Haye said or ever will say.

RobPalmer believed every junk word and promise that came out of Hayes mouth as Gospel truth. He became a David Haye believer.

GazOC took it all with a bit of salt.

Robpalmer was left devesated when Haye turned out to utter empty words.

It didnt surprise GazOC one bit.

RobPalmer is just a young pup.

I told you GazOC is old school - he's been around the block a few times - this is a guy who lived through the reign of Magaret Thatcher and came out the other end a stronger person - he knows how life really works. :p

Listen fella........let me telly you something for nothing.

    I agree 100%.

I will ****ing love it if Harrison twats this smug psoing **** into oblivion.

I want Harrison to knock Haye out and then cash in on big payday against the Klitschkos.

In other words - I want Harrison to get the big unifcation against the Klitshkcos not Haye.

It wont surprise me if Haye has got a rematch clause in this contract - Booth and the team dont want to take any chances - they are the most careful fearful match makers and contract dealers in boxing.

I'm only a few years older than Rob - it's not that he's young, he's just been a bit naive over the whole affair.
