How soon before Canelo is called a cherry pick?

    Who said I don't want to see the fight? I more than happy the fight takes place, but no catchweight. Either fight him at 154 or don't fight him at all.

    This fight won't be down to weight it will be down to money, canelo has yet to be on a ppv main event but he values himself very highly. Where cotto could demand some of the ppv money that was because he actually has been on the PPV main events. Canelo has not.

    If canelo is smart he should just accept what ever floyd team offers and hope for the upset and renegotiate a better deal next year.

    What I think will happen is canelo will have his first ppv event against cotto in september so he can gauge his drawing power. Then come may 2014 he gonna ask for a **** load of ppv bonuses which floyd won't offer.

    Like I said if canelo really wants the fight he just needs to accept floyd offer then hope for the upset.:deal

    The only way to get credit in boxing is to beat a fighter in the middle of his prime.


    Essentially he's on a big win streak, you beat him, and he then continues to win after that.

    If that doesn't happen. It's a cherry pick of some kind.

    Due to the drought in competition, Canelo is his biggest threat out there. That can't be a cherry-pick. Floyd's cherry-picking days are over now that there is no one left to fear.

    There's no point fighting Alvarez even though its the biggest money fight out there right now, and also provides the biggest challenge out there and the best match up stylistically for the boxing fans because he'll whup him anyway then everyone will say he cherrypicked him. So he may as well just fight Alexander because he'll get abused either way.

    floyd is that selective at avoiding any real threats, that when he actually picks someone who is a resonable challenge, we're all supposed to whoop and chear about how amazing floyd is for fighting the best.

    Am i wrong for thinking that ATG Boxers like floyd are supposed to fight the biggest challenges out there.

    Of course you'll have different opinions (only *****s seem to think in unison) but there's no way Canelo is a cherry pick, unless fraud waits until he gets knocked out twice or looks horrible in a few fights then picks him.
    But of Canelo is his next fight then I for one would have nothing but respect for the pic and definitely buy that *****
