How soon do you think that Juan Diaz should move up to 140?

Diaz should go for a 10 year run as lightweight champion. It is a joy watching him fight at this weight.

I wouldnt really consider it a bullying style. He usually comes in between 5-10 pounds over what he weighed in on fight night. He doesnt have a big size advantage over any of his opponents i actually think he looks small compared to them.
His style i would say is very very good inside fighting. His stamina is what makes him so effective.
I say he takes out Hatton in the later rounds. we all know Hatton wears out in the later rounds and Juan Diaz's defence is pretty good and he is too active for Hatton to be landing enough to hurt him.
In the later rounds Hatton will be too worn out and Diaz will just turn it up a notch.

I think he should strip some of that fat off and go down a division  . Ok kidding, quite honestly he should unify the division and then STAY there. He could make one hell of a great legacy by actually staying at lightweight imo. Too many guys are moving all over the place and eventually losing when they should just stay at their natural weight. Imo if he moves up, he will lose and really theres no reason for him to move up any time soon. Unify and STAY at lightweight Juan!

i think hes doing just fine...hes still very young and can unify the 135 class....and still move up to 140 in the very prime of his career....and make a bigger name for himself in the meantime...no rush IMO....

The Baby Bull will be stretch too much if he moves up and meet Hatton at this point.

The punches of the bigger boys at 140 will be felt by Diaz.

As soon as Pacquiao moves up to 135:yep :yep :yep

No seriously, He should go at whatever weight he's comfortable at and where the money and big fights are? Hopefully, he cleans house in this weak division so here on ESB we can proclaim him as God and unstoppable at that weight. Moves up and kicks some ass at 140. The thing about him is he's got plenty of time before the ole latino genes kick in and he just gets fat ala Vargas.

No reason for him to move up at all, as far as I can see. And definitely not before someone makes Diaz-Katsidis happen.

It's just his body type mate....Just because a fighter isn't finely chiseled does'nt mean he's portly...going down in weight would be sort of pointless with all the depth at 135...not much at 130..Pac, Marquez, maybe Valero(i doubt he'd want any of Juan)...Going up a weight Juan would still dominate due to his excellent speed(He'd be much quicker than most at 140) ring generalship, tremendous workrate and superb conditioning....Can you name a fighter at 140 that can throw 120 punches in the 12th round of a fight?? Me either:good

Juan should unify with Katsidis, maybe David Diaz, then fight the winner of Pac/JMM, then move up to 140 to fight Hatton.

My hero?! Wtf?! The amount of posts I've made on Hatton can be counted on one hand. The amount of posts praising him are even less. What's more, it's obvious to anyone with half a brain that Diaz would lose to Hatton despite being the better p4p fighter.
