How soon do you think that Juan Diaz should move up to 140?

A lot of work can be done at lightweight for Diaz.

08 already has Campbell and probably Katsidis on tap. The winner of D. Diaz and Pac could happen late 08 or early 09.

Some of the best jr lightweights might be moving up. Valero, Guzman, and Soto. Surely one or two of them move up and challenge Diaz sometime in 09. Can you imagine a Diaz-Valero match? Wow!

By then two of the top prospects in boxing....Peterson and Kahn will be looming as top challengers. Maybe Gamboa makes his way up there as well.

Throw in the occasional mandatory and Diaz has several years of good solid challenges ahead of him.

But the idea of him moving up in a year or two and challenging Hatton, if both are undefeated and widely considered the best in their divisions= superfight.

Still, I'd like to see Diaz stay at 135 for a couple more years before moving up to challenge Hatton.

But then again, you have to realize that Juan Diaz has commented on the fact that he really wants to retire early.. And if he plans on being comfortably financially secure, then he should move up to 140 and get in some mega fights with big names like Hatton, Witter, or Malignaggi.
