What fight were you watching? Salido landed literally like one scoring head shot all night. Loma landed more clean punches in Rd 12 than Salido did all night.

Salido won the fight because he was more active-- note active, not effective-- in the middle rounds while Loma made a conscious decision to conserve energy for the final third of the fight.

He's a double gold medalist, almost beat one of the toughest fighters in the sport tho he lost, and beat an unbeaten top 126lber who currently is a champ. Has to count for something. Wants a rematch with Salido too.

Did you bother to read what I wrote? I had the fight either 6-6 or 7-5 Salido.

However, Salido banked 2-3 rounds simply by being the busier fighter. At no point was Lomo wobbled or even remotely in trouble.

How many times has Salido dropped Martinez, who's a pretty good 130lber, in their fights? Hell, Siri had Gamboa on the deck.

Such as? The best guy in that stable is GRJ, and Loma breezed to a UD over him.

    And I'm a big fan of Gary's.

The guy is exaggerating like a total idiot and taking all the context away from the fight.

There is a transition period that affects some standout Olympic boxers when they spend too long at the amateur level. Their styles are altered to score points and to be fast, less focus on power, turning over punches and switching up speed and velocity of their offense. Sometimes we see guys like have a real hard time adjusting to the pro style or incorporate techniques that are necessary to compete at the level. Lomo doesn't seem to have a problem with the transition. He's still identifying what his professional style will be but you can see progress each time he fights.

That was a great win for a green professional boxer like Lomachenko. Gary has qualities that natural would cause any opponent problem. .. most of it being his speed and explosiveness but Russell is also a very skilled fighter with a slick and slippery style. Lomo proved to have the ability to adapt and adjust to take away those natural gifts that saw Gary remain undefeated up to that point.

On the internet you can be anything you want.
It's strange that you choose to be stupid.

Come on Willie you're better than this. Can you imagine what would happen to Rigo if he fought a Welterweight who hit him in the nuts all night in his second fight.

I'm still not certain Lomachenko will be head and shoulders above Salido if they were to rematch next. Lomachenko is not going to be able to fight Salido how he fought that Koasicha guy last night.

Low blows or not, Salido is still a nightmare for Lomachenko. Salido is a thinker. He's hard to read and offers the dirty kind of pressure.
Salido defends very well to the areas of the body where Lomachenko is good at landing on.
Salido bullied and outhustled Lomachenko, albeit with low blows but still had his clean moments to prove this.

Salido has a decent surge as the fight goes on (very characteristic of him). He wore off in the 11th and 12th not solely because of Lomachenko's supposed domination, but also because Salido was 147lbs and always seems to fade at these times of the fight. Salido was genuinely gassing out, that's why Lomachenko was able to take over so well in the final round.

If Lomachenko dominates Salido in a rematch (providing Salido still has a lot left in him, and the fight isn't won on harmless knockdowns that usually drop Salido), then we can say that Lomachenko has not only truly learned, but is one of the GOAT fighters in H2H abilities, because it's the toughest style for Loma to face.

Is it a knock on Lomachenko? No. Mayweather got bullied and outhustled by Maidana twice.

Salido is criminally underrated because of his losses to Mikey Garcia and Gamboa. Two guys that at 126lbs were well and truly elite, and yet Salido was getting back into the fight vs Mikey and the knockdowns by Mikey are glamorised far too much for those who are not familiar with Salido's career and history with knockdowns.

No one would say anything if it was Rigo because Rigo is not the favorite of many fanboys on BF24. Because it was Loma it was frowned upon. I get it. I know that bias exist but I hate when people claim to be fair and equal but act other wise when things don't go the way they saw it in their mind.

Like Bradley KO ing Rios when Manny could'nt ,now Rios is shot or Timothy is on PEDs and all that because Bradley did what Manny couldn't. Absolute B.S.

Are you pretending Rios was at his best??

It's not Tims fault that Brandon was so sluggish and Tim did put on a great show, but come on man...
