I wouldn't be surprised at all. Floyd pressured Oldsley and Victoria. The only guy he can't pressure and walk down is Pacquiao, because Pacquiao loves that ****. And since Floyd's legs are 'gone,' it's why he's ducking.

There's nothing new with Cotto running desperately if under pressure

Not too surprised; if Cotto can stick and move effectively, I'll be happy that he's adding dimension in a way that hasn't really been tried before.

And yes, how times have changed to be considering such a dynamic.

when cotto is pressure he usually boxes his oponents, he also boxes when he knows hes winning or if hes in trouble. Thats just his instincts, he doesnt like pressuring the pressure fighter and didnt like boxing a boxer. I think he'll be sticking and moving though thats what he mostly does now.

Cotto cannot out box Mayweather...and even if Mayweather has shot legs & has slowed down...then Cotto's condition at the stage of his career cannot be defined...

    It will probably happen.

Mayweather is now 35...in boxing terms, this is where we should normally see signs of decline. Older fighters prefer using as little movement as possible, to conserve stamina and keep their legs from tiring. It would thus be a good idea to make Mayweather move as much as possible, to try and box him while circling, and make him initiate the attacks. A very difficult thing to do, of course.

No not at all. If Cotto can't take the punishment he will get on his bike. Cotto says he will fight Floyd the same way he fought Mosley.

Cotto's been getting on his bike in damn near every fight lately, he's not a slugger anymore. Floyd has also been coming forward in recent fights and he never really was a runner. If the fight DOESN'T feature Cotto moving and Floyd coming forward I'd be surprised. And thrilled, because Cotto stalking and power punching is imho a much more dangerous and exciting fighter. I think Cotto will try to stick and move and Mayweather will take him apart with great ease. Cotto THINKS he's a master boxer, and he's not. He's only really good when he's coming forward hurling body shots.

I won't be surprise at all. Nowadays, Floyd only knows how to fight one way and that's cutting off his opponents with intelligent pressure. As one poster above stated, it'd be cool to see if Cotto is capable of forcing him to move as much as possible. It'd be wise for Cotto to move as much as possible because Floyd doesn't seem to like fighters who aren't willing to stand flat-footed in front him[I guess that's one thing that he has in common with Manny].

I guess that's what makes Floyd an all-around great Boxer. Whichever ways you try to fight him, he'll find a way to be at his own comfort zone, control the pace of the fight, ect.
