We've had some boxing surprises lately such as Kambosos and Bivol. Catterall also should have beaten Taylor as well. How big of a shocker would it be if Rolly actually crashes the Tank hype? I think at this point we really shouldn't totally be writing off a fighter just because they don't look that impressive in some fights.
Kambosos was a bit surprising. Bivol...not the least bit. Would have been very surprised if Canelo had pulled it off (legitimately). I WILL be surprised if Tank loses.
Rolly has power which Tank has in excess as well but the skills and athleticism gap between them is a wide chasm. Rolly will need Tank to be careless to knockout Tank and unlikely to happen.
Taylor had an off night against Catterall. He's a better fighter.Catterall would not beat Ramirez, Prograis, younger Postol, and Baranchyk. The only thing that surprised me in Bivol Canelo is that Bivol actually came to win Rolly is an embarrassment. Some of the most ridiculous novice like punch technique. I did initially think Tank was very skilled. And he is certainly skilled. But he has already been exposed in several of his fights as a weight bully who just isn't that good (tiny fighters in Santa Cruz and Cruz). If Tank loses to Rolly or is competitive he should just retire
It would be a big upset judging by the difference in skills. I wonder what the odds are, 5 or 6 to 1?
On a scale from 1 to 10, about an 8. Very surprised if that happens. Even more surprised if he would do it on merit.
That is such BS. A proper examination of Tan’s record shows he has beaten world champions and top contenders. The people you want him to fight mouth off like Ryan Garcia but won’t sign up to fight him. I wonder why.
When did I mention Ryan Garcia? Tank hasn't beaten the top ranked fighter in any division he's fought in, yet he claims to be a 3 weight champion. Compare him with Shakur Stevenson who went to SFW and beat the top two ranked fighters back to back.
