How surprised would you be if Walter's manages to upset the odds and beat Lomachenko?

If Lomachenko loses, I will never watch boxing again and will start petitions for it to be banned. My soul will cry.

What utter nonsense. I think people were saying at the time that he had the potential to be one of the best. No one said he was the best at the time! Try giving a fighter time to progress and a little lea way to season instead of criticising a second fight SD and to be fair it was terrible refereeing and probably a draw. Hardly anyone has stopped Salido and hardly anyone has dominated him either.

Nice to see someone picking the underdog whilst I can see Walters getting a couple knock downs can't see him knocking Loma out

Lomachenko looked taller at the weigh in stare down. Loma also had the higher in ring weight between the two while at featherweight, for fights where they made the featherweight limit. Most people don't realize that due to HBO claiming Walters was a Welterweight in defense of Donaire.

Yeah hence why I said bold lol. Ive been watching both guys fights. I've noticed a lot of kinks in Lomas game. Dude does a lot of flashy stuff that I think is going to get him clipped. Walters can catch guys from weird angles with those lanky arms of his and has punch selection. I see Loma trying to pull fancy stuff like when he turns opponents and getting hit by a shot he may think is out of range.

I also saw Rocky Martinez land 4 consecutive right hands on him when they were standing right in front of each other in round 4. I believe he landed about 6 total in that round. To me he's very susceptible to the right hand regardless if it's looping or straight. The body is there to be hit as well.

I also think Loma is too confident to the point they're kinda overlooking Walters. I think there's a lot of variables that are at play that will catch high tech off guard. We'll see. Credit to both fighters for stepping up.

Nicholas Walters was 141 vs Sosa.
Loma's biggest in-ring weight was 138 but has also come into the ring at 129lbs and 132lbs.
Lomachenko at the weigh in was near full hydration.
    Walters has a bigger frame.

He didn't want to sign an extension with Top Rank. Even though given his contract, he technically "had to" in between Mariaga and Sosa, he went calling to Al and Bob got pissed. Look what Bob did with Pac/Bradley 1, he's not above fixing an in house fight. So long story short, Walters got buck about money, Bob said sign this extension and we'll start paying you better, Walters balked and went shopping, Bob found out told Walters ppl "hey I have you for two more fights anyway, you should sign" he didn't (this is around the time of the Sosa fight), and look what happened. But since he fought Walters, Sosa has looked much better so that draw doesn't look bad in retrospect.

    But yea Bob got mad.

I don't think it would be so shocking. Loma deserves to be the favorite, no doubt, but Walters is a live dog in this fight. People thought he was going to just roll over in his fight with Donaire and he ended up dominating him in that match.

Obviously Loma is a different animal altogether but if Walters can make it a dirty fight and mix in a combination of tough/borderline dirty inside fighting while utilizing his jab from a distance, than he should definitely have more than a puncher's chance.

Not surprised at all... People are seriously under estimating Walters here.

That said, I can say, I dont know **** about boxing but this is 50-50 fight for me. I just barely favour Loma but if he is getting caught with some of Walters best shots, it is good night for Loma.
