My wife says he is shorter than me and about 5ft 9. She processed him and escorted him through the airport several times on way yo Samoa and gave her a kiss.
I saw him several times back when he was headlining Cedric Kushner cards in NYC. I was ringside for a few of those, and while I wasn't close enough to him to say with absolute certainty - I thought he was a touch shorter than me, which your tale here reinforces. I'd say 5'9" is right (without bothering to look at what's officially listed).
