His stats say 6'2..but in the Toney fight he wasn't more than 2 inches at the most over Toney. There looked more like an inch in it but lets say 2 inches. Toney's stats say 5'9 or 5'10 (i've seen both but lets take 5'10)..allowing Randy 2 inches (and thats being generous) that makes him 6'0 dead. Now as we speak in channel 5 uk TV right now Lesnar V Couture is on Brock is what 6'3 ?? Well when they came to the centre of the octogan Lesnar towered over him - that was never only 1 inch!! So I say Couture is 6'0 at best! Why are they so exaggerating Couture's height?
They have him listed as 6'1" on Sherdog. This content is protected Hopkins is 6'1"... and Couture was clearly taller than him when they met. (I know that Couture is closer to the camera, blah blah... but I have seen other pictures and the video. Couture was clearly taller. I could believe that Randy is just 6'1"... but in that case Hopkins isn't.
Yes, Randy's height is inflated as are many in the UFC. His real height is 5'11". Toney is actually between 5'9"-5'10".
Heh, at the cinema here in Saigon they've got big cut outs of The Expendables crew. Dolph Lundgren has been completely scaled down and looks silly, and they've obviously scaled up Stallone and Li, but looking at Couture's cut out I was wondering the same thing - I had a couple of inches on him at 6'1
He ain't no 6'2". Toney is 5'9", not 5'10" or 5'11", and Couture was not much taller than him. The same goes for Fedor Emelianenko, who is listed at 6'0" but in reality is less than 5'11". The same thing was done in boxing for Mike Tyson, who was always listed at 5'11 1/2" but was never more than 5'10" barefoot.
Randy is 6'1 wiki has him at that and Big Nog at 6'3 watch their fight you cleary see a couple inches height difference. Randy is not 5'11 he might look 5'11 when he lowers his stance like he did vs Toney.
When I watched him come face to face with Toney he wasn't hardly any taller than toney! Really! I say this because I was shocked how they were 4 inches apart in the stats yet you could hardly tell! Then as I said in the OP when he came to the centre of the octogan against the 6'3 Lesnar there was a HUGE difference. Lesnar towered over him. So whats Lesnar? 6'6?? His stats say 6'3.
