How tall was "Iron" Mike Tyson for real?

He looks exactly 5'11 to me, not taller or shorter, just that, which is quite short for a HW.

It just enhances his achievements, I'd say.

WTF 5'11 is concidered pretty tall, I am 5'11 and most women say I'm tall. If he was 5'5 that would be understandable but 5'11?

i believe he's 5'10"...I've heard people say he's 5'7" before, which is laughable. i think he looks shorter than he is because most people now-a-days at 5'10" are between 147 and 168 pouds..sometimes even lightweights.

I have a photo of him and me. I am 5'10" and fought WW, so I was around 147lbs. He is taller and was double my size in width. There was another guy in the photo who is 6'1" and Tyson was shorter than him.

 

Tyson is stand-up worthy, he is great

 

I have discussed this many times, and seen this discussed.

I believe he was 5 10 1/2 . He was was never 5 11 and he was never 5 9.

In 1991, a close friend of mine died in the stampede at the Rapper Sports event at City College. I went to the funeral and Mike Tyson and Don King showed up. I was standing RIGHT next to Iron Mike. I am 5' 11'' and Mike was definitely taller than me. Not by much, but taller. Also, the fact he carries 220+ pounds makes him look even larger.
