Ok so did one of these for floyd Patterson a couple of weeks ago. Old joe is another claimed height I have my doubts about. Like Floyd he is listed a 6 foot but was dwarfed by Ali in the Liston fight. Was lot shorter than 6 1’ joe Louis, he doesn’t appear noticeably taller than the 5 10 Marciano in there fights together. I’m going 5 11’ tops for old joe.
Louis was 6'2" and Marciano was 5'11" He's barely taller than Marciano in most pictures. Therefore I'd go with 6' flat. Wouldn't be crazy surprised if he was 5'11 1/2" or something.
