Height loss is related to aging changes in the bones, muscles, and joints. People typically lose almost one-half inch (about 1 centimeter) every 10 years after age 40. Height loss is even more rapid after age 70. You may lose a total of 1 to 3 inches (2.5 to 7.5 centimeters) in height as you age.Aug 22, 2016 Aging changes in body shape: MedlinePlus Medical Encyclopedia https://medlineplus.gov/ency/article/003998.htm
http://www.josportsinc.com/item_images/1171552849.jpg Jack Sharkey was a shade under 6 foot. I'd say Tom was 5'7-5'8.
Wtf is wrong with you guys? Unless you have scoliosis you shouldn't be shrinking. I'm the same size....6' 1 3/4 .... as I was 47 years ago at 20.
There is a greater height difference between Tom and Greb than there was between Tom and Jack....though Jack is leaning over and not standing up
That is what I am saying as well I am the same height now as I was at 20 when my dad died in his 70's he was still nearly 6'1" when he could stand straight
Jack would seem much taller if he was standing up straight and Tom wasn't standing his tallest next to Greb. I place Tom closer to 5'7. I don't know if it's my eyes or what but it also looks like Greb and Tom are standing on an incline.
One shoulder is much higher than the other. Could be a curvature of the spine? People do shrink as they age
Yes in their later years not at his age unless he had a serious disease and curvature of the spine would be signs of a debilitating disease but degenerative bone loss is minimal in most people
This is a good one jack has the customary flat leather soles of the eras shows and Tom has heeled dress shoes
Not everyone is the same. CLint Eastwood for instance. Look it up. He was clearly taller than Muhammad Ali in his prime, who was 6’2.5-3’ Has lost around 4 inches. Same with Schwarzenegger too. https://www.celebheights.com/s/Clint-Eastwood-816.html
