Ok, lets forget about the running, cherry picking, bullshittering and the love to money.

How talented is really Floyd Mayweather, are his skills worth top 10 ATG,
are his skills at the level of prime Jones, Durran, Robinson, Armstrong, etc?
Are we witnessing something truly exceptional here?

I'm witnessing a truly exceptional defense for sure.
    Always found ATG list pointless.

I think weve got to get past the arrogance and cockyness he brings, in terms of boxing he is one of the best of all time. If he was to fight pacquio id much rather pacman won, but i have to say mayweather is the definition of boxing genius

I actaully think he has good skills but not great. His level of opposition has not been the best for a while so its hard to gauge him. He does alot of things wrong but gets away with them because of his speed. Technically he is not that good.
His speed is pretty crazy along with his defense.

    Agreed.

I'd have loved to see Mosley and Floyd fight at 140 about six years ago. Supremely talented offensive fighter versus supremely talented defensive fighter.

On sheer athletic ability though, I rate him a couple of notches down from Jones.

A truly great fighter with superb skills, but not quite on the same level as guys like Whitaker, Duran and Leonard.

Still, from his own era he is up there with Jones, Hopkins and Pacquiao as the real cream of the crop. When he's on his game, he is just sublime to watch.

One of the best defensive boxers ever, i've huge respect for his talent, it's just that like everyone else i wish he would prove that he's great.

he is a true Boxing prodigy and it looks like from the 24/7 episodes he is working his ass off and not just relying on his natural talent like a lot of fighters do see James Toney as an example.

Even if you hate Floyd it is hard to criticize his talent/abilities.
