Yes, Joe Frazier should have his own statue, and that is before he's passed.

true, frazier should be living like a god in philly for what he did for them, and he deserves a statue.

Philadelphia is probably the most racist city in America. They have a statue for a fictional movie character, but not a REAL HW Champion in Frazier.

joe frazier is one of the most over-rated fighters of all time.

one great win over ali, i will not dispute that but what the **** else does he have on his resume?

wins against shite like quarry, buster mathis, and a win against a pumped up light heavy in bob foster.

His 3 fights with Ali ios all fraziers record is about, but it really is a admirable accomplishment and it says alot about ali's greatness as well. Frazier deserves respect either way, i think you prabably view him about the same as norton?

Is this a joke? Are you an idiot? Have you ever been ta Philly?

Meanwhile I can't access the video but if it's refering to the Joey Giardello statue it's a statue that reps South Philly Boxing and was/is paid for by the neighborhood and his friends.

Check out a great Philly site that does a tremendous job for Philly Boxing.

    www.PhillyBoxingHistory.com

They even started a Briscoe award ceremony where guys like Mtagwa even won just recently as fighter of the year. In addition to things like even getting gravestones for those forgotten.

Those involved I know would fully support a Frazier statue if the funds became available by the city or community, unfortunately that's not the case, he even lost i think his gym in North Philly.
