I don't get how quickly chisora was able to get title shots with the k brothers so early in his career, while fury has had to wait twice the amount of time before being considered mandatory for a fight with wlad.

I think derek was 25 when he was suppose to fight wlad and had only faced bums like danny williams and ***xton. Then before fighting vitali he had lost to fury and helenius

I know fury pulled out of the pulev fight to take on haye but even before that with his unbeaten record, he was never under any serious consideration to fight wlad or vitali

Chisora was really promising, powerful and tough. Eye-pleasant style, big british following.
Nobody gave young Tyson the slightest chance of winning against unbeaten Chisora.

    ...the hell?

Only Chisora's British fans gave him a chance. To most of us, it was pretty obvious that Chisora did nothing particularly well. Even in his prime he was small, lacked power, and did not have particularly good defense or movement.

Fury, at least was a big boy with fast hands who threw good combos. Guys have had reasonable careers with less than that.
