True. Also I remember reading in his biography where he would ask his managers to get him fights to stay in shape. He actually fought to stay in shape. Look at his record. He didn’t just train to fight. He also fought a lot. A Lot.
Pugilistic virtuoso, a master of his game, an artist who gave us many masterpieces. It all comes from living and breathing, studying, always learning his sport.
By fighting all the time...not once a year like today! Back then...they had fight clubs all over the country...real trainers...you stayed busy and you learned your craft!!!
he was a Natural Athlete, lean, strong, agile, a Dancer, Smooth Mover, again Naturally and a Dedicated Athlete who mastered the fundamentals of Boxing in devoted training, practice, fighting and disipline... plus he was Tough and he liked a fight. and that is how ALL the Best Do It, some are just more Natural in Movement & Motion than others. it is Just That!
