Whatever suits you. It doesn't matter if somebody is a superstar. Some, but not all of the upper tier fighters can take a good shot. If Cintron had knocked out Judah, Cotto, and Berto more people would be making a fuss about Cintron's power, but that doesn't mean ****. Cintron hasn't fought anyone, so you aren't being realistic or giving him the benefit of the doubt. Knocking people the **** out 27 of 29 times isn't any bull****. Chins don't need fans, belts, or hype. We know Cintron can't knock out Margarito, but most people probably suspect he could knock out whoever is knockoutable.
I'm more impressed with the upper cut Margarito landed while being hit in the first clip... Look at Cottos' body when he got hit... This is why he faded down the stretch, these type of shots caught up with him.....
Margarito Must do the old Jack Dempsey routine: Chewing Pine gum, and soaking his hands and face in Beef Brine.
For 11 rounds Margarito took a lot of clean head shots. And I'm sure they weren't weak punches Cotto was throwing.
His power is overrated just like Berto's IMO. His level of opposition is to low, he can bang but he has KO'd no one of significance.
He definitely has a great chin. Also, a lot of it is good form. He keeps his chin down at all times, tucks it up against his shoulder before impact, and keeps his weight forward. Those things are much harder to do when you're retreating. It's also harder to get the kind of head-snap that produces knockouts without really teeing off. Those were solid, aesthetically pleasing punches. However, they came in ones and two's and were usually thrown while moving back. The combination punches were less powerful, though attractive.
