I couldn't believe it myself and those punches are coming from a VICIOUS puncher like Cotto, Margarito took them like they were absolutely nothing, it was really hard to believe as the fight kept going I must admit.

Whether Cotto was stepping back or not, no one can deny that he is a powerful puncher and punches with excellent form. Anyone who can take his shots flush and not be affected by them has to a hard mother****er

Margarito is like Bruce Willis in Unbreakable. Looks like an ordinary guy but he's as hard as a diamond.

In regards to the Cintron comments, nobody can deny he has power. He may have a shabby inside game and a weak spirit but if you don't have Margarito's chin he stands a good shot at knocking you silly. Nobody, including Williams, will take the shot Margarito takes at welter. And that is why a guy like Cintron will have that puncher's chance (not against Margarito).

I'd bet you that Clottey could eat any of Cintron's shots that don't land on his arm and smile.

I'm gonna disagree with you there. I think if he was hit flush on the jaw he'd get knocked out. The thing is breaking his guard is not easy to do. Of course, can't really prove it unless they fight.

Factor in Margo saw 95% of the punches he got hit with.

Clottey hasn't even been rocked before. I guess your basing this conclusion thinking his chin hasn't run into a serious test?

Because Clottey is insistent on not getting hit. Almost to the point of absurdity (giving rounds away).

There was a moment in the 9th or 10th against Margarito that Clottey really started to tire and fall apart. Margarito just kept hitting his guard and Clottey looked ready to collapse. I am certain he has a fear of getting hit in the face. And that probably has something to do with a previous experience (like what happened with Wright against Vasquez).

    Quintana quit on his stool.

That punch was on the middle of Quintana's back BTW. He had a bruise as big as a watermellon a week later. They photographed it.

Interesting idea. Look at the first four rounds of that fight though. The way he dominated and punished Margarito he did not seem to be to worried about what Margo threw at him. (ie In an instance in round 2 he was willing to eat a left of Margo's to land his own combo's.)
