I read a lot of comments on this site from people who say silly things like Mayweather was unbeatable at light weight but I really think he lost this fight and this fight shows he could of at least been beaten if he met an ATG. In my opinion there are also three names at Welter deserving of a shot at him before he can truly say he's a ATG. You bassially get hounded for saying Margarito would beat Mayweather on this site but Mayweather has arguably never even beat someone who is p4p as good as Margo and imo Mayweather has really looked like **** at welter, he should of had a knock down scored against him in the fight with Judah which was close. To be fair to people who will send hate filled comments aimed at me for this thread, if Mayweather proves me wrong and beats a ATG in their prime I will admit he himself is an ATG. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=k17CRlarKW0
Mayweather struggled, and I had him losing. But he was badly injured so it's pretty poor form to use that fight as an example of PBFs fallability. But yeah, he's beatable at 135.
I had it a draw aswell but overall I thought Castillo was the boss in there. He may have given away a lot of early rounds but he won his rounds quite convincingly over the second half, more so I thought then Floyd won his. Was close in the end but the fact Floyd won so clearly on the cards smelt fishy to me. The second fight proved this was no fluke though that was clear for Mayweather that time..Castillo landed more on Floyd in those two fights then I think just about anyone has and bothered him a lot.
Had it for Castillo, close but clear. Bodypunching was one of if not his biggest asset and I don't think he was given enough credit for it down the stretch. Couple that with Mayweather's injury caused inactivity and I don't see how you can give him anything more then a draw.
It was'nt a robbery, the fight could have gone either way and like someone else pointed out Floyd did sweep alot of the early rounds.
PBF won a close fight that could have gone either way. What most poeple refuse to admit is that PBF was injured going into that fight with a bad shoulder which had an effect on him. PBF proved to be the better man in an immediate rematch and even JLC admitted this.
i don't believe that neutral with an ounce of boxing knowledge could score that fight to PBF. castillo won clearly. the judges scorecards were nothing short of a disgrace.
