It's not that he's bad. It's that he blatantly didn't give a **** and didn't even wan to be in the ring. Darchinyan's a ****ing shmuck; it's pretty sad when there are amateurs who with few pro fights could beat his ass.
Kirilov is a hell of a lot better than he looked tonight. He had some great performances against Luis Perez (where he was jobbed) and Jose Navarro. Tonight, I'm not sure if it was an off night, Darchinyan's awkward style, or a combination of both. Either way, Vic deserves credit for what he did tonight.
I think Vic It's just too easy to hit. Any good boxer will kick his ass. Of course he faced a guy who apparently forgot how to box. Kirilov kept his left hand low all the time. Didn't jab. Move to the wrong side. Kept his feet in the wrong position. Move his head to the wrong side too. I think Kirilov was KO before the fight started
This is the first time I see Kirilov in a fight and I wasn't impressed. I guess it was an off night by what ya'll are saying.
kirilov was a good boxer and so are all the other guys vic has KOed before, the thing is vic bullies, pressure, and get to the opponents head
One thing is getting KO. But to do everything he is not supposed to do??? Mistakes not even an amateur boxer will do. Looked like he wanted to lose. To many mistakes to count. Totally unbelievable
The funny thing is I was talking to my wife this morning about boxing southpaw (she's a lefty and wants to spar one day), and then we watch this fight where Kirilov does everything I told her NOT to do. At least Bernstein was there to call him out and affirm what I said.
No kidding. Just everything that you learn the first time you spar or fight a southpaw he threw out the window. Congrats, by the by.
