It'll be a rematch for Maidana in September, and in that time frame, Khan will have a legitimate chance to pick up a good win or belt at 147. Maybe against Thurman or Porter. It will be Mayweather-Maidana Sept 2014 Mayweather-Khan May 2015 Mayweather-Pacquiao September 2015. And that will be his career.
I don't even think Khan survives three rounds against Thurman or Porter. I'd love to see Floyd fight Thurman and/or Porter before he leaves though.
If he fight those fights as you say, he could have a chance to unifed all the welterweight belts. That would definitely help his legacy
