you can but the problem is Manny doesnt do well going back so it would be fewer counters.....

Mayweather knows how to fight going back there is a big difference in styles note when Manny slides out he tends to move back and when he does that usally he gets hit happend alot in the Cotto fight, happend alot in both marquez fights and in the 1st fight with Morales.

i think any good or maybe great fighter with good a jab, head movement and footwork can beat Pacquiao. Watch Jorge Solis fight Pacquiao. It was one sided for Pacquiao, but he confused Manny throughout the fight, it's just that he was a crappy fighter. I think Bradley or Alexander can beat Manny

But I had always thought Solis that style resembles more of Margarito, slower than Morales and a bit wider yet tall and honestly though Manny won that fight it was the akwardness that gave Manny trouble in that fight...
