Yeah I was going to bring up throwing right hands the Manny's stomach, which Floyd is known to do to southpaws, but Manny learned from the experience twice
very good well detailed explanation now explain why he lost twice to pacman with a total of 5 kd and please dont include alibis
Watch the second fight and notice Morales was winning it until his legs gave out. He couldn't make the weight class anymore and came overweight against Zahir Raheem the fight before. After that, Roach put a 500,00$ weight penalty on Morales and he killed himself to make weight so he started off good and then the weight cutting caught up with him
No one has backed up Pac since Morales or JMM. People say Pac has changed a lot since JMM 2 and he has but we also havent seen him fight anyone that has made him back up since then. So while Pac has improved on other aspects he hasnt faced a fighter yet that can show us if he has improved fighting backwards yet. I would have loved to seen Clottey walk him down, I thought he had the right style to really bother Pac but Clottey let me down as a fan big time. The mayweather fight is interesting because he can back pac up with the high guard or also move and counter trying to catch pac coming in. Floyd has to be favored in the fight because he has more options than Pac as far as strategies.
so even the pacfags agree that countering is crucial in beating up emmanuel. Good countering are like bodyshots, they both will neutralize speed and control work-rate.
I only watched that clip, but Solis troubled him with some a bit of slickness, counter rights, body shots, and even a bit of clinching. Solis wasn't good enough to keep all that up for the entire fight. emmanuel is not a good finisher.
Imagine that, but Floyd. When I saw that fight and round 3 of the Morales/Pacquiao fight my eyes lit up and I got my check book ready to bet on Floyd
