    Floyd has a huge ego.

While you could argue, it is the key to his success, it is also his biggest weakness.

You gotta beat him at the press conferences. Ricky did a really good job tellin Floyd that he can't dance and makin people laugh in the process.

I bet that got Floyd hot as ****.

If I were Ricky, I would attack his music videos next and make sure to make everyone laugh. Then ask Floyd to explain himself, but mock him in the process.

That's how you get in his head and make him fight your fight.

You wanna make Floyd brawl. GET IN HIS HEAD.

I think Floyd uses his ego and anger and insecurities and everything to his advantage in the ring. It's a controlled thing in there. Floyd talks a lot of trash and when someone says something back to him he seems to get mad (Gatti, DLH) but it doesn't show up (negatively) in the ring. I think Floyd was already irritated by the adoration those two get anyway.

The best thing to do is to have the right gameplan(s) in the ring.

Floyd is a workaholic in the gym and prepares for his fights as well as anyone. I totally disagree.

Think about how strong and smart you might be sometimes.

Then think about how a girl can entirely **** up your day if she really gets in your head.

    Same logic.

Agreed, good post. You can say what you want to Mayweather, he'll still turn up in the best shape. you just have to beat him on the night...

Do you really think that's even a possibility? I think his style is so well engrained at this point that you couldn't possibly pull him into a brawl, but maybe that's just me.

I think you make a good point. Look at what Leonard did to Hagler...he was very nice and respectable toward him in the build-up to the fight and Hagler decided to try and outbox Leonard, which was the worst mistake he could have made. Even though Hagler trained like a beast and everything it still didn't matter because he chose the worst gameplan possible...Leonards only chance was if Hagler tried to outbox him and that's what Hagler tried to do. Hatton's only chance is if he can try to get Floyd to outbrawl him and I think trying to get in his head like Leonard did Hagler will be Ricky's best chance to get Floyd to brawl. :good

I think you have to make other people laugh at Floyd.

Hatton might be successful at this.

If you're up there acting like an idiot, I don't think Floyd will budge.

You have to make Floyd think that everyone in the world is pointing and laughing at him.

Lol ok so everyone who wants to be a boxer should forget going to the gym and concentrate on jokes because "making people laugh" obviously wins you the fight!!.. the fact that Floyd IS THE BEST IN THE WORLD.. doesn't mean nothing of course!!,

Oh man, the way Fatton fans are acting you would have thought Vicky was like Dave Chapelle at the conference, he wasn't he just made snide comments that are funny to Hatton and his silly fans only, that's it.

    Nah, I'm not sayin that.

I'm sayin that the only chance Hatton has of beating Floyd is if Floyd wants to brawl.

Floyd isn't gonna brawl unless he has to or he's so mad that he can't help himself.

    He might get caught.
