    Pretending to be a Christian was a nice idea but sadly it hasn't really worked out for him. If even hardcore Christians find you too boring, then I'm afraid there's literally nothing you can do to increase your appeal. Even if he shaved a shamrock into his hair, changed his moniker to 'Irish' and donned a pair of green shorts it would only have a negligible effect.

    Good idea, Fury got many fans playing the irish card. But ward has zero personality. i dont even think the irish could take ward into their hearts. :bart

    I used to be a fan of his, he tweeted me two years ago saying he was gonna destroy froch. Now i just think hes a comedian and lost respect for him

    He really just needs to be active.

    He is never going to be a star. Doesn't have the persona for it. And he probably blew his window for HBO to really market him with his endless lawsuits.

    He needs to come to grips with reality and his actual earning power and leverage and quit thinking he is Floyd or Pac.
    HBO isn't going to pay him millions for tune up fights.
    He needs to quit demanding everything on his terms. Make a GGG fight now after 1 tuneup max.
    Quit demanding that everyone has to come to his weight class. If he can lose a few pounds to face GGG, do it. Don't make Kovalev come down to 168. Propose a catchweight and make it happen.
    Not every one of his fights has to be in Oakland. Be flexible.

    Hopefully this latest round of negotiations with HBO and Showtime not being interested in him fighting **** opponents for high pay gives him some humility and an incentive to make things happen.

    Ward needs to fight someone, such as Stevenson or Kovalev and Ward needs to fight outside his hometown with his personal referee, judges, boxing commission, etc. SOB Ward claims he would beat Klitschko, well, I don't see him signing a contract..................Ward is a legend within his own mind........

    Set his fight dates to valentines day. And when he clinches he should give the opponent a peck on the cheek, during really long clinches tongue kiss them.
