I think it's just like any other sport really, if you wanna know about it, just watch and learn. But is there more to the sweet science than that? Would experience be the best teacher?
Actually, there's a lot you can do and it's different than other sports because of the psychological aspects. I've always told people to read stuff like The Book of Five Rings, MCDP-1 Warfighting, Art of War, On War, etc. You have to be able to apply what you read and think deeply/visualize, but I think it helps. Watching boxing or reading or talking about it won't do anything unless it's combined with experience. From there you just have to understand human nature a little bit. This is all secondary to training, but it helps.
