Alright guys how you all doing.
The question I have is when I am doing body sparring. I get punched in the arms a lot.
I was body sparring on thursday I could not move my arms I had huge bruises
I was not tired in sparring because I have been doing lots of running but I had to finish early because my arm was in so much pain.
my whole elbow in the morning was red. I iced my arm after my session but I could barely move it.

    Any help

When you get hit, turn away from the punch.
That takes a lot of impact off punches, versus taking them dead on.
That'll help ease the pain of the bruises, and going forward - avoid getting bruised up. Use the natural instinct to turn away from punches - the same way you turned away from the belt when you got whipped by your dad.

Kind of a graphic way to describe it, but I hope it gets the point across. The idea is to time the punch so you start turning as the punch approaches, so rather than a straight impact, it sort of rolls off your arm.

Get an Arnica cream. It will speed up your recovery.

I have think my problem is I take the punches straight on. I should turn away and try to move my arms like you said.
    Thank you
