So was it Joe Fraizer or Marlon Starling, or both, who used the peek-a-boo style?

Starling held his hands up high but neither were from the “offical” Peek-a-boo training system with Futch, Rooney and Cus etc. Marlon Starling was an incredible fighter, I was told not long ago Futch said he was the most difficult fighter he ever worked with, wish it wasn’t the case actually Futch also said when they were having issues… “Starling I taught you everything you know but nothing everything I know.”

Uppercuts all the way and do not stand still in front of them, keep moving and do not get on the ropes. If they get too close clinch and restart from the center

Easiest way to beat the peek-a-boo is to make them reset constantly and attack the openings between the guard, not try to blow through it.
    • Work the body early. Their hands are high and tight, go downstairs and make them drop their guard over time.
    • Use feints and angles. Peek-a-boo relies on slipping and counters, if you stand still in front of them, you’re feeding them. Make them guess.
    • Double the jab. Single shots get slipped, doubles and triples force them to stay defensive and smother their own counters.
    • Keep turning them. Don't move straight back, step off to the side after you punch. Break their stance so they can’t plant and launch forward.

You’re not going to break the peek-a-boo with brute force, you beat it by breaking their rhythm and making them defend in ways they're uncomfortable with.
