I don't like watching Wlad fight, but i like watching him knock people out. I also think he's a great fighter. The way I look at it, Wlad has been allowed to develop complacently due to lack of challenges. His style is absolutely tailor-made for a tough pressure fighter. There just aren't any out there that are anywhere near world-level. If the division was deeper, Wlad would have been beaten a few more times. But he would have developed some infighting ability and defensive skill out of necessity, and would by now be very hard to beat. It's not his fault that all he has to do is jump backward and act afraid whenever someone tries to hit him. Good fighters don't become great without competition.
Wlad has to be the only power-puncher in boxing history that people call boring. If you watch any of his fights, how can you not fall asleep? Wlad's win over Haye was so boring that his fans couldn't even have fun afterwards here on the forum.
Very good thread! I think most of the people are tired to hear the same song: Hating the Klitschko's, especially Wladimir, for whatever happened or will happen. The same for Lucian Bute and...as for threads like Pacquiao fears Mayweather or Mayweather fears Pacquiao, I feel like it's like watching the movie "Groundhog Day". It's a complete waste of time.
If aliens invaded the earth... He fought in 2001 and very successfully so. Why would he throw 100 then?
