How do boxers make crazy weight drops before fights? I know it sounds like a very broad question and its prob been answered but I feel like its something everyone but me knows lol. Theres gotta be some secret of the pros besides perfect diet and training. I don't understand how guys like Joan Guzman are 130 for a weigh in and 148 the next night. Do they run, not eat, sauna? I'd like to know the average preferred method of making weight besides extreme starvation. For example im 5'7 when im eating right and training often im about 144-146 with very little fat. I would like to be 141 but would i be able to make other weights like 132 with certain methods?
they mostly dehydrate themselves. If u ever saw those sauna suits on the contender or on the everlast site or anywhere, thats what they are for. YOu work out in them and u can lose 10 lbs in just water weight. Its really unhealthy and id suggest staying at ur natural weight.
so basically do a regular boxing workout while wearing a suit will lose weight fast? Or do they sauna, or run?
They can do anything, it depends on how much they need to lose. They key is getting re-hydrated before the fight starts.
sauna run long distance with sweatsuit sweat cream but dont do any if u just want 2 lose weight bcause its only water weight
