hmmm so because you cant beat me verbally on your thread you decide to come to mines and try to make fun of me.... well here is what, laugh all you want everyone i lost to has a solid background in martial arts of some kind, not to mention these were a long time ago. but compared to your bodybuilder wannabe friend, you have yet to prove his background. a hint for you, i am not going to make fun of you but join a real gym and quit dreaming
The guy whos fan club you are the president of is SLOW... Im sick of seeing this poser and his lame ass 8 pull up, flexing, and 10 second heavy bag videos, I want to see him in a ring... Until you show your hero sparring do us all a favor and go post your bull**** somewhere else.. ****in groupie....
Think they are one in the same... That or this guy is the biggest groupie around... Hangin on his buddies nut sack... Any way, why are you posting videos of your friend? Whats the point? So you can go tell him what people on an internet forum think of his 8 pull ups? Im impressed guy..... His form is flawless.. :good
so now you try to make fun of asians just because you keep losing verbally to me? here answer this, all amateurs need to be sanctioned with one organization, give me the name of his organization and his name if you cant prove it you lost already
you are stupid.... every amateur boxing have to be sanctioned with a boxing organization or association.... be glad to give me your name, your gyms name, and your so called amatuer boxings org. name
one more thing this thread is on how to overcome fear of boxing someone bigger not how you are a gay teenager that hates me. so either give qualify advice or get kicked out
The reason you're scared is because of inexperience , the more experience you are the more confident you're going to become, because you'll know what you should and shouldn't do in a fight and you'll know how to handle certain fighters. 1. You should always wear a head gear when sparring regardless 2. Get some 1 who knows how to work with you and can give you advice, because he/she will see your flaws. 3. Ignore these dump ****s who are talking down on you. It's ok to have a little fear when fighting bigger opponent , it will keep you alert , but don't let it take over you mentally.
If you don't have fear when fighting bigger opponents , especially if he has power, you could possibly find yourself counting the ceiling tiles.
again today i sparred with someone at 190 and was a coward once again http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f36iDkVV5jw
hmm i can spot a few flaws.:think 1. first and foremost: your afraid to get hit, your going to have to be mentally prepared to take a few to the face. 2. never ever turn away from a punch, always keep your eyes on your opponent. 3. bend more at waist, your standing straight up. 4. dont pull back from a punch, unless your ali your not gonna be able to get away with it. that could actually put you in more harm as it gives him more punching room, as i said before bend at the waist and slip the punches to the sides. 5. you stood right in front of him and didnt use your feet for anything other then backing away, circle him and find a hole in his defense. 6. it looked like you had the reach, dont forget you can use a jab as more then a weapon you can use it as a probe or keep the smaller guy off of you. throw it as soon as he comes in range constantly, and after a good 7 or 8 of them follow up with a right hand or whatever is open if he hasnt backed off. work on your defense, put on some headgear and a mouthpiece and have a buddy put on gloves and work on your head movement and parrying, but make sure its at a pace your comfortable with. :bbb
Well truepwrz, I know you just started so I'll only point out what is obvious: Get your chin down and move your head, keep the shoulders up like turrets that your head can hide behind. You're swinging aimlessly with your arms (completely out of range) while your head stands straight up like a plank waiting to be shot off. Very dangerous. Big bad NO. The other guy was just dicking around (and hurting you in the process) not doing things properly either. That is a bad example which just damages your learning potentials. No offense. Good luck with pursuing fighting sports.
