    Sometimes, a fighter can take alot of damage, and not have any visible marks. You can't judge damage solely based on welts and cuts :patsch

    and anyways its not clean punches like you think it is, its actually clean and effective punches. So if you land 10 clean pitty pats, and the other guy lands 2 punces that send you in la la land, then he can and will win the round.
