If you are/were a powerlifter then you should stick to that and not try to give weightlifting advice to boxers as your advice is wrong. Son.
Obviously learning how to box is top of the list, but you say strength and conditioning training is last on the list then try to compare weightlifting to bodybuilding? Weight lifting can be very, very good for any athlete. Seeing as you said to do 10-15 reps, which is hypetrophy range training, you've shown you have no idea about weight training for boxers. Good for you. Point was 5 reps is not just for powerlifters. It's funny when people say things like this. How could you possibly know this? I know nothing about powerlifting or science? :rofl
I have played all kinds of sports son, boxed as well. Show me clips of top boxers doing 3-5 rep weight workouts...LMAO.
Never said it was, in fact you were the one saying that powerlifters don't do 5 reps they do 1-3 so it seems you can't even remember your own bad advice. Stick to talking about boxing, your weight training advice is laughable.
atsch Insulting... Funny when guys think they know what they're doing because they've played a few sports.
:rofl Ever visit the crossfit forums? They could use a dose of the realness too, if you've got the stomach for it...
