How upset were you when Wlad fought Leapai?

    Did the same people who are criticizing Floyd for fighting Berto, go this ape **** when Wlad decided to fight Leapai? Leapai is worse than Berto, yet i didnt hear all this outcry. And for the record this is not a fight I want, but the double standards are ridiculous.

    Wlad was absolutely blasted for fighting Leapai. Hell, he was **** on for fighting the undefeated and prime Jennings ffs. Nobody but the most hardcore wlad fans defended that fight, stop trying to create a double standard where there is none.

    And leapai was a mando.

    See this mando **** doesn't cut it for me, because 1. the dude never fought for a WBO elim, 2. he wasn't ranked #1. It's like Franke Gavin who was ranked like #11 in nov 2014, getting jumped up to the mando in 2015 after beating absolutely no one.

    So if one of the sanctioning bodies made Berto a mando for a bs reason, just like they did for Leapai who never fought an elim, and wasn't ranked #1, then you wouldnt mind right?
    There definitely is a double standard, no one shat on wlad 1/10 as much as they're doing on floyd. Have you actually seen the threads that have been created lately?

    It was a mis-match but it was also a mandatory and, although I don't usually enjoy his fights, Wlad has taken on all comers and cleaned out the division.

    More people shat on Wlad than on Floyd. I don't particularly care either way, sucky fights but they've had their share of good ones to compensate.

    Yea well I'm sure if Wlad didn't want to face Lepai, the WBO would have accomodated him and thats why it was a joke of fight to me

    But Lepai beat the WBO mando in Boytsov so it wasn't like he just randomly become a mandatory

    Still better than facing ****ing berto

    Really?? Have you seen what's going on, even though the fight hasn't even been made official? I think you need to check the past 5 pages, there's definitely several berto/floyd topics on each. I just highly doubt that there were even close to that many for Wlad/leapai which is even a worse fight.

    Lepai beat WBO mandatory Boytsov which made a defense against him better than Berto who's beaten no one of note

    I don't know, doesn't look all that much to me, a couple of threads from the usual suspects (tinman, Lady Girl and boxing_master), I remember the reception to Wlad-Leapai being more negative. But as you say, it's not been announced yet, we'll have to see.

    Wlad never decided to fight Leapai. The WBO did that when they made Leapai mandatory challenger.

    well leapai had baden oui, 2wins 2 losses problems LMFAO
    Collin willson 33-23 problems LOL
    drew with kotatsu takehara. 6wins 3 losses
    kevin johnson problems
    the onyl win that guy had was Boytsov, who fought nobodies his whole career.

    berto has wins over Urango, Freddy Hernandez, Jan Zaveck, Quintana. his resume ****s easily all over leapai.
