How was Kova SHOT when you guys had him winning? LoL

I said Kovalev was old and shot before the fight. I predicted Canelo would stop him late or win the UD.

It played out exactly like that.

I have not got any skin in this game.

 

i think canelo had an off night thats for sure was looking desperate for big shots alot of the night, kovas gas tank IMPROVED ALOT so credit to him there

I'm not surprised by the KO, but I thought Kovalev would actually come to fight, not tap away on Canelos gloves

 

Kovalev is a diminished fighter. I did pick him to win. Despite everything against him. I hope he retires now. Fight was bit of a stinker but credit to both guys- Kovalev fought a strategy that at this point in his career gave him what he felt was his best chance and Canelo for ending the fight.

 

He can be shot and still be winning the rounds, they’re not mutually exclusive...it’s says more about Canelo that he couldn’t win rounds against a shot Kovalev.

My prediction was Canelo on points because I thought Kovalev was weak and couldn't pull the trigger anymore.

When a known power puncher cannot throw his POWER punches anymore then you know he is a completely shot fighter.

 

He’s well past his best, but still a top10 LHW. “Shot” is an exaggaration.

Still though, I knew he’d be there to be taken late in the fight for a guy Canelo’s caliber.

 

I mean Kovalev is shot and was still easily out boxing clenelo

 

Kov threw way more punches and was the more active fighter you blind sob

 

Because Nelo just isn't that good. He's fishfood for a 30 year old Krusher.
