It seems you always lurk in the bushes, S, when anything positive is said about LaMotta.

What's it about Jake that nettles you?

  4. obviously there are just 2 options:

    a_he hates lamotta
    b_ he is ignorant

Do I have to like that ****** and near-murderer?
Regardless, his power is clearly below average, numbers don't lie.

Does a 90%+ KO Ratio Lie that Vitali Klitschko is the hardest KO Puncher ever?
    Yep. He isn't even close

  8. exactly tommy, there are many factors... the rivals.. the styles...

Considering LaMotta was mostly fighting men smaller than himself, and was the aggressor most of the time, the notion about rivals and styles doesn't hold water.

yeah for example I know Young had a very low KO percentage but he managed to stun the likes of Ali, Norton, Foreman, Dokes, and Lyle, most of these guys have iron chins besides Norton.

no offence but you even did think that you said?
lamotta faced guys like robinson, zivic, jose basora, tons of times faced guys like cerdan or janiro

the size is not matter lamotta stopped joe frederick in 1 round and he weighed 181 pounds, lamotta weighed around 165.

  12. it for sure, the %ko of young is ridiculous this % looked like a record of a lightweight, but young had more hitting power that his %ko did show

Skillful boxers can stun opponents even without having much punching power. LaMotta wasn't anything like that. Tha analogy with Young is totally irrelevant.
