Not my favorite but it was decent kinda told me something I didnt already know. Clottey's new trainer was Pacquiao's cutman through 03-05 I doubt that helps but its a nice little sub plot to the fight. In these things though I wish we would see alittle bit more training footage my favorite ever was Hopkins vs Tarver. Glad to see them back though we havent had a 30 minute countdown show since Hopkins-Pavlik a year and a half ago.
I prefer the countdown format to 24/7 which has become cheesy reality TV. Clottey is a really likable person, im gonna feel sorry when he gets his but kicked next weekend (if you're reading this Joshua, good luck..lol)
I like 24/7 but at the same time I hate it if you understand that :yep They show alittle to much of the stuff outside of the fighter like his entourages and his country. Alittle is ok not to much and im getting pissed. I find Cotto/Pacquiao somewhat boring they dont speak great english and dont seem comfertable although I like them. It has been done to death IMO.
i was more interested in clotteys story as it hasn't been shown before.ghana is really soaked in boxing:bbb
for 24/7 format to work you need 2 english speaking fighters , you also need there to be some needlw between them otherwise they quite boring
I liked it. So, check this out...people are thinking that this fight could be an upset; Pacquiao underestimating his opponent, Clottey being so tough, Pacquiao's streak has to end sometime, ect...that could well happen, I I see it going the other way...everyone expects a upset, but it won't happen. Pacquiao will step up to the plate like he always does. That's what makes him so great. Cotto could have just as easily pulled the upset (which I actually thought wouldn't have been an upset at the time - Pacquiao should have been the underdog) but, Pacquiao brought his A game and proceed to pound the **** out of Miguel. Same thing should happen here. I see Clottey trying hard, but the most impressive thing he'll do is take Pac's shots like a man, and remain on his feet for the full 12.
